This is something I do not indulge in. Politics are a lot of things, fraud, lies, money, popularity... I have never been interested in politics and never have voted. I know - if you want change you have to be involved and your vote counts. I get it...
But with so many things working against you - do you really count? What is real? To understand both parties in great detail, you have to spend a lot of time and effort to have a well-rounded opinion. I think so many times people have blind opinions, unbeknownst to them, influenced by their surroundings. Social media. Targeted marketing. Almost to where you believe what they want you to believe. So instead of focusing on this and investing my time in politics - I would rather focus on what I can control. How I can make small impacts on society through the people I know in my small circle.
I see so many people fight over politics, and to what end. What is the purpose. I wish there was blind voting. Not who you want to vote for - but a series of questions of what you believe in. And from that, a result in who you voted for. You might be surprised the outcome.
